How to Find a Computer Lab

Public computers are available to students, faculty, and staff throughout the Simmons academic and residential campuses.

Express Web Stations
These computers do not require a user to log in and are designed for web browsing. Express Web Stations can be found in the following locations:

Beatley Library Information Commons

Ground floor

First floor

Second floor

Lefavour Hall

Ground floor (Myers Cafe)

3rd floor (Communications student lounge)


Main Campus Building

Commuter Lounge

Dix Lounge

Java City

Student Activities area (West Wing basement)

1st floor lobby

2nd floor landing

Information Commons (Beatley Library)
The Information Commons, located within the ground, 1st, and 2nd floors of Beatley Library, provides access to computers, printers, and group study rooms with built-in technology.


Residence Campus
There are general access computer labs with printers available in all residence halls.


Departmental Computer Labs
Several academic departments maintain their own computer labs. These labs are primarily for students within the particular major and contain discipline specific programs and peripherals students need to complete their coursework.
